Shir Ami is a warm and welcoming Reform Jewish congregation with Torah at the center.  We embrace our heritage while creating new ways to bring us closer to each other and God through acts of worship, caring, learning, giving, singing and celebrating together.

Given all that's unfolding in the world, last year (5785)
Rabbi David selected
love as Shir Ami's annual theme.
This year (5786), Rabbi David adds strength.  We need both
love and strength: we are #StrongerTogether.

Come see love
 and
strength together at Shir Ami.

Exciting spring learning opportunities:

Join Rabbi David and Rabbi Rachel Barenblat for a three-session mini-series preparing for Passover in heart and spirit.  We’ll take a deep dive into parts of the Passover Haggadah, exploring core prayers and motifs both historically and spiritually. We’ll also learn core practices – what we do and why we do it – and what the intended impacts on us might be.

7:00pm - 8:15pm ET with discussion to follow
March 3, 17, and 31, 2026 • sessions via zoom
Free for members; modest cost for guests.
REGISTER FOR LIBERATING PASSOVER
Join Rabbi David for a six-session series about the prophetic voice of social justice and rectification in Jewish life.  After exploring prophetic pathos, we'll take up particular prophets of the Jewish Bible and the societal conditions in which they taught, fought, preached, suffered and healed.  Always our question will be what those voices might say today.

7:00pm - 8:15pm ET with discussion to follow
April 21 • May 5 and 19 • June 2, 16 and 30
Free for members; modest cost for guests.
