Because many upcoming events are on Zoom, here are some basic instructions.
ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS: At the designated time of each event (or a little before) click on the link you have been emailed to Join Zoom Meeting. For security reasons (due to the recent occurence of zoom bombing) we will only be sending the link to those who have registered for an event/service. As you join the Zoom Meeting, select the options to join with video and join with audio.
Microphone/Camera: Once you are in the call you can choose to mute yourself and/or turn off your camera if you don't want to be seen by clicking on the microphone and camera icons.
Speaker View/Gallery View: You also can view the people on the call in two ways "Speaker view" which has whoever is speaking as the main image and everyone else in thumbnail images or you can choose the "Gallery view" which allows you to see everyone in the room in equal size images - the person who is speaking gets a yellow box around them.
If you have never been on a Zoom call before you will be prompted to download an app. Once the app is downloaded then click the join button and then select to join with video and join with audio. If you are having trouble joining from your computer, you can also try to do it from your iphone or ipad. (If you are still having trouble email us at [email protected] and someone will get in touch to help you.
If you need more help, this video is on the zoom site to show people how to join a meeting.
