ISSUE AREAS
As you well know, there are many national and global issues that need our individual and collective attention. Nevertheless, our recommendation is to focus on one issue area this year.
This focus will enable us to concentrate our efforts so that we can make a small, but mighty impact. We know that our world is not a static place, however. Should a national or global emergency occur, we might choose to respond as a congregation. However, we recommend that our programming have a clear focus moving forward.
Note that when creating this list of issues, we purposely did NOT include those that require an advocacy or policy response, selecting only issues that lend themselves to projects where individuals and/or groups can actively participate. Listed next to each issue you will find just a few examples of potential projects for us to consider.
Please rank your number one and two issues that you would like to focus on this year.
